At least I know that I'm not the only one receiving this error and crash. This usually only happens to my slightly older desktop about 3 to 4 times daily. My newer laptop has no issues other than throttling and heat issues. There is an update scheduled on Wednesday. Lets hope it gets fixed than. Otherwise happy hunting everyone. ^_^/

I too am recieving this error. Though, for me, it's been about once a day. I end up having to reboot the whole computer and restart and that seems to help a bit, but it shouldn't happening at all.

just crashed again as i posted on the other thread..so i am bumping them up//was starting the every little thing she does is magic quest.. was talking to biggs to start the instance and ding chimes my computer and my game locks up

Just happened to me when I stealthed while mining near Quarrymill. There's a thread in the bug report forum which is probably a better place to post instances of this error.

I was having this issue as well.
I am not sure if anyone has said this, but I uninstalled the game then defragemented all my drives, even ones that the game had not been installed on. So far this has worked, but the lag issues I am suffering with make it really hard to tell.
I DID leave the Beta installed when I installed Phase 4 beta/early access, and that may have been a bit of the issue.

Hi all, first of all this is an ingame issue, nothing to with anyone's PC etc

I have tried literally everything to sort this ridiculous error out & even taken it to my local PC shop who specialize in gaming..... They confirmed there is nothing wrong with my PC or the ram or the gfx drivers & it is 100% definitely not c++ related.

Its all down to FFXIV's servers load...we will continue to get this error until they sort it out. So until they do fix this issue there is nothing we can do.

I have 8GB of ram, 1TB hard-drive, Intel 7 processor, Geforce 660 GTX gfx card.... the only thing that isnt as good as it could be is my broadband connection but come friday I will be getting fibre optic broadband, so if I still receive the runtime error after that then it has to be in game.

I will post back on here and let you all know.

So I just got this error 4 times in a row, and to be honest this has never happened to me before. I don't know what else to do, since this is truly ruining my gaming experience.

I get this all the time, no matter where I'm at. And although it can happen simply anywhere, it likes to happen the most in Coerthas.

First Players and NPC's stop loading for a while. The music cuts in and out. Then I get hit by a billion and a half invisible walls on my way to a Fate or whatever, sit there in the Fate waiting for the mobs to load so I can actually do something. They never load, I start going back to Dragonhead, then boom, Runtime error.
