Runtime Error

Glad to see this isn't just an issue for my PC. Been getting this since day 1 of open access. Must have something to do with loading as it only happens to me when porting into busy atheryte areas.



About time we got some info on this, even if it is just acknowledgement.

One hour, then R6025'd this morning. I just don't want this to be buried under millions of server related posts. Think it may be something like a leak based on 100+ player models being loaded at once - quite often it seems it happens when you come across a large group Fate Partying or whatever. Not ideal for an MMO - doesn't cope well under any conditions that include Massively Multiplayer or Online-ness.

Just curious, how many of us are from phase 4/early access? I haven't tried a reinstall yet. Has a reinstall worked for anyone?

Been playing since phase2 and never had this error untill early access.. Tried a fresh reinstall 3 times and still hasn't helped any..

Never got it in P4 (though I was locked out with 3102 for almost the entire weekend), or Early Access (I was plagued with things-aren't-loading, but never got the runtime). It started happening after release for me. Did a refresh/reinstall of all the C++ redistributables, updated all my drivers, updated divx, did a clean reinstall of the game on a separate harddrive. Still got the error.

Luckily I didn't get the error today, but I got it like 6 times yesterday.

yep was waiting for the npcs to load so i could do my level 46 quest with the imperial closthing heard the telltale windows "ding" of the runtime error...i have done everything suggested on the forums...delete game and all c++ runtime programming ..reinstall game and 2005, 2008, 2010, and 2012 c++runtimes x64...checked directx installs

mine has been even one step further before game was installed... this was a brand new installation of windows7x64 on a brand new ssd..hadnt been used on anything but ffxiv:arr and icedragon browser to post on these forums....

between this r6025 error..severe lag and fps drop...coupled with a few hundred gil sellers this game is almost not worth playing...but on the plus side i dont have to wait an hr of login to get to play again
