I think this thread will hit over 300 pages easily before the end of the day. Now back to me spamming the login screen.

2 hours of 1017 looping, finally get into a queue of 188, down to 146.... BAM! 1017.
So how does the queue work exactly?
SE's list current issues.... note that there's nothing about server congestionCurrent Known Issues (Aug. 27)
As of August 27, 2013, the following issues have been confirmed in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.
- Monsters do not appear during instanced quest battles, preventing progression in the quest.
* This issue is scheduled to be addressed this week.
- The following quests cannot be completed if a player’s inventory is full.
My Feisty Little Chocobo
Double Dragoon
* This issue is scheduled to be addressed this week.
- If an artifact quest is completed with the artifact stored outside of the inventory on a character that was transferred from the Beta test or Early Access, the character may end up with 2 artifacts.
* We are planning on addressing the above situation by removing the duplicate item.

I cannot beat the mid level moogle delivery boss during the log in mini game
I got all my friends hyped to play this game, and now regret it as they all just trash talk it and stopped trying, got refunds on their preorders because they were never even able to play -- AT ALL--. Beta P3 was sweet..P4 was pretty much non-existent..Early access? What the %%#@ was that? Couldn't get in during that either. And now with launch, still unable to play? Why did we preorder? Why was "playing early" the reward? I'd literally throw a brick at their building if I was close enough. Spending $90,000 on servers would fix all of these problems and give people real options. From an IT standpoint, their sorry asses failed BAD. And don't give me "All MMOs have this problem!" No..They don't. Don't even mention WoW. That was back in 2004 when it launched. Technology has advanced so much and the game supports 10x what FF14 does any day of the week. Other games were from very 3rd partyish companies that didn't exactly have millions and millions to throw around. SE does. You didn't see this sorta of week long congestion with no feedback from anyone at any other major MMO launch. I think they're scared to admit they don't want to fund the fixes and are hoping it resolves itself. NA has never gotten real support from SE.
Noone except japanese gets support from SE, so go spam the JP forums until the devs wake up.
Right now we need SE to do two things. 1. Make sure the queue is working/bring it back. 2. (I think most important) force log off anyone ideal for more then 2 hours. This is a great game and I know the servers are going to get better but spamming the server by hundreds of people can not be a good thing for the server over a queue system. More and more people are just getting fed up with this and I for one can't blame them.
**Edit** Wanted to add that it would be nice if we can get SE to at least address the issue. I did read the apology but nothing stating anything about what they are going to do about it or the fact that they are or not going to do anything about it.

i've said it before and i'll say it again. SE does not care about us anymore. they got their money from us and now they are only concerned with the japanese servers and if those have any issues. they could care less about america and european server issues. this really shows us just how much developers value their customers.I got all my friends hyped to play this game, and now regret it as they all just trash talk it and stopped trying, got refunds on their preorders because they were never even able to play -- AT ALL--.
