But seriously, this whole thing is retarded. It took me and my friend forever just to click on a world. And now we cant log in cause of this 1017 thing :/. How can it be this bad?

Also on Cactuar and this is insanely annoying. But ur right, I mean think about it. This issue is going to force more AFK's because people are now terrified to sign off! Yes it's new, Yes it's gonna be buggy, but it's not Square's 1st or even 2nd attempt at this.

i played for 2 hours this morning, lost internet connection and still have not been able to get back on 1017 is lame. i'd rather KNOW i'm 2,366 in line to play soe i have some type of idea as to what the time frame is. IF i ever get on again, i'm not going to log out. It's senseless to. i'd hope that SE and their dev's here in the states would do something to fix this issue. i bought a game i'm not able to play when i want to. It sounds selfish, but if i want to play something that i bought, i want to play it WHEN i want to. sorry i have a job and responsibilities and don't have the patience to sit at my comp clicking for 6 hours in hopes of getting on.

While an AFK kick option might not be awesome to the people logged in right now. it also would better their chances at getting back in and not having to face the "server is full" error. It would technically be win win for both of us >.>

A secondary option would be to freeze their state in the game, not logging them out, but not allowing them access, taking up less space on the servers >.> so i would imagine. Replace them with a screenshot until they move their mouse. similar to a screensaver, a picture and some background text to restore them would take much less space. You could place a 5 minute timer on that and noone playing or afk would have an issue.

I agree that people are getting too used to this idea of "every MMO has this problem" because that isnt true for one, and for two it is letting the developers know where the bar stands, what they can get away with anyways, and since people with money are at their nature, well, greedy. Its best not to fill their heads with ideas.

A queue also would be a great thing square. I wanna state that i lost faith in final fantasy at..well 10, final fantasy x and x2 were terrible games, mainly because they lost what i loved in final fantasy. From what i can tell, alot of this game is bringing back what i loved from the originals, and because this is the idea, i will keep my game..


Will i pay monthly for it? well...no? I wont pay monthly for this game until its complete. Just like i would not pay monthly for a beta. You have likely already made your money back for the creation of this beta we are in currently, and as i would not pay monthly for a beta, i will not pay monthly for this one.

That said, i would very much pay for the beta itself. and that is what i consider myself to have done.

The is the FIRST Square Enix MMO I have ever purchased and it will be my last, if these issues aren't fixed in the next 48 hours, you can count my further support to be in the water. Can't log in to ANY NA server, this is just flat out ridiculous
