I had finally gotten into a queue with 2 people left and BAM 1017! WTF man seriously? I get into the actual queue and it STILL does that to me? Jesus christ they need to fix this stupid shit. It isn't normal to just expect your players to spam the login in order to even PLAY your game! Why is this not a higher priority???

The part that gets me is SE's idea that it is good practice to remove game access for MOST people in order to provide a full game experience for SOME. If given the choice, I'm sure MOST people here would prefer to be able to log in period and just not have access to SOME game features.

Sure, people would still complain they couldn't do everything they wanted, but at least they'd have the option to wonder around the game and maybe find something entertaining to do while they wait, maybe even something they might not have otherwise tried and it turned out to be awesome. Even running circles around Ul'Dah would be better than playing a failing login lotto that will only make customers progressively more upset.

The fact it's a lotto is infuriating. If I had a queue telling me I would be able to login in 6 hours (Aion at release), I could just go do something else instead of wasting AN ENTIRE EAFTERNOON trying to login with no success while a friend of mine can arrive and login in his first attempt just because he's lucky.

Meanwhile, people can AFK all the day if they don't get a disconnect.

Well.. the game is released and the error 1017 is still there.... ok... what now? i paid for the game and i cant play it. I ask for the GM's for this problem and i ask a solution now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously this is getting beyond a joke, i have a family and work, i can only play this game 1-2hrs tops a day. i paid good money for it now let me in ffs, i was ok with it being error ridden in beta phase 4 and open beta, i didnt complain, but now it is a joke.

I was able to get in just fine (SIren server) all through the early access weekend but now on release day which I had asked for the day off in advance I'm unable to get in. Last night as I logged out it did cross my mind to just leave my character afk but decided not to be a an ass, now I know there is a dick out there who is afk and thanks to him I can't get in.
