No matter how aware they are about how many people will be logging on nothing can test how the servers will react to that much traffic. It cannot be prevented in almost any new mmo. I am aware that everyone has expectations of SE but they tend to be a little blind. There is nothing that can be done now that isn't already being done. They posted a warning about this on the 21st. You cannot say that you where not warned about what might happen. SE will open up many more servers tomorrow that can better accommodate the traffic but there will still be issues. Bioware, Blizzard and any other company that has an mmo have all experienced this problem at one point or another you just have to understand that these things happen. I'm positive that SE will correct the problem in some way to make up for the time players lost. The big picture here is the game will be around for a few years at least. you will all survive a few days of waiting.

p.s. before anyone decides to post further insults to me know this I really don't care what you think of me or my opinion. if you want to disagree with me try and actually make a FACTUAL argument.
Name one MMO that has completely locked people out of the game in order to load balance and keep servers stable. There were plenty of connection issues when Star Wars hit the shelf but they never locked people out. They had extremely large ques for about a week but people could play if they would wait in the que long enough. You can't even get in a que right now and if you do you get booted from it most of the time. SE is actually denying a service that people paid for by locking them out of the game completely. Some have not been able to play for days. Fixing the ques would be a huge step in trying to alleviate peoples frustrations at this point. Ques are what keep large amounts of people from overloading a server. People would know that they would have at least a chance to play at that point.
