Yea this is Square taking a massive shit on its costumers... So you allow others to play and say to hell with the others? What was the point in the beta exactly if you had a similar issue during beta and still went ahead with the prerelease? Why did I reserve exactly? What am I getting for being a loyal customer and running out to reserve early? Not a damn thing... Error codes for most of the damn weekend... And silly we are sorry and it will be fixed blah blah blah. I would rather play a free to play game likes runes of magic over paying monthly to get screwed.
Yep add me to the list.

Alright im gonna say it!! Square Enix is worse than EA!!!! thats it i said it!!!
Square enix cares more about than japan than the eu/au even though most of their money is gonna come from us, just pathetic, cant wait to see the backlash after launch tomorrow.
Is it really true that they have 25 servers for jp and also 25 servers for the rest of the world?? surely they cant be that bloody stupid!!
Why would you ever take off work days for a launch? Launches are notoriously horrible and ridden with bugs for MMOs. Shoot, RIFT had almost as much downtime as this game does and just as many login problems. WoW was bugged for the first 3 months with more login problems and crashing servers as this game and I don't even want to talk about FFXI at launch. Safe to say, you are learning the hard way launches suck and I am sorry for your loss of time. Just hope it was PTO.
No one should ever take time off of work just to play a game. That is just plan out stupid....... But everyone is having the same issue. Going to the JP servers and creating a bunch of characters over there is going to help it anything. If the JP servers start messing up because of that then its just going to take people away from trying to fix the NA/EU servers. Dont get me wrong I am upset as well from all of this. I played FFXI for 5 years and I played FFXIV v.1 for almost a year. I also could not play but for maybe 5hrs of open beta and have been locked out of the game since I got home around 5:30pm est from work. You dont see me going off on SE over it. People need to calm down and realize they have under estimated how many people are actually wanting and trying to play this game on NA/EU servers. They will have it fixed and it may just take some time.

I had effectively played more during phase 3 week 1, than all of phase 4 and EA combined. I got home at 3:30 pm my time and have not been able to login once. Fostering a behavior of not logging out will only exacerbate this ongoing issue. As to a fix, separate NA servers from EU servers, Auto-logoff feature like in ffxi, free transfers off high population servers to encourage those who want out, bring back queue. I would patiently wait if I knew I was in line for something. During several other mom's I have beta tested, this is a common trend and most of these suggestions were the fixes used. Even at that, how has ffxi never seemed to have a server count issue. Not sure if I just never saw one or what. All in all, I just want to play this game I have waited so long to play. I was so excited to be a part of the beta process as well as have early access. I love all of the final fantasy series and was a huge fan of ffxi. Please SE learn from past mistakes and don't let this drag you down.
i was in the middle of a guildleve on malboro and got booted. tried to log back in and got booted D:
