The server is full, try again later (1017)

I'm really curious what the average waiting time is before players are able to log in. I've only been going at it for a little over an hour, and I'm already going crazy!

I don't understand why limiting the number of people who can log in to a server has anything to do with removing the ability to queue. I'm understanding of problems and don't mind waiting to play, but having to actively try to log on every few seconds is a waste of my time. If there was a queue and the estimated time was 5 hours I'd be totally ok with that because at least I could plan my time out and go read a book or something. It's also not really fair that someone could get in on their first try, ahead of some unlucky person that's been trying for 10 hours straight.

I don't care if we're given a sympathy gift at the end of this debacle, but I do think that we should be given free server transfers. A lot of people are playing without their friends right now due to server locks and restrictions, and some people are playing on JP servers too. Neither of those things are good for the community.

I got back into the game, after maintenance, for about 10 minutes until the servers went down again. As of right now, I've been trying to login off and on for the past 8 hours or so. I'm giving up and going to bed early, to make up for the sleep I lost this morning, waking up early to play the game.

This is the greatest part I seen this in the forums it is a newer post I had to check something is this a jp server...? Well go figure it is. Great they cant log into server 5mins later it is fixed! Na/Eu cant log in hrs and hrs ppl trying it still is not fixed maybe theres was a easy fix or maybe it jumped right to the front of fixing it b4 addressing the issue with Na/Eu players being able to get in just thought it was awesome that this issue was taken care of so orderly and we are left in the dark waiting for whenever they decide they want to get our servers together.

Thus far, I"m not terribly impressed with the Operations side of this game. the game itself is beautiful and fun.. for the few hours I've been able to enjoy it. I've been unable to get in for 7-8 hours now, with 1017 errors on Leviathan.

I truly hope this turns around quickly, or I will not bother with a monthly subscription.
