I finally got in, but the servers are going down in 9 mins. 6 hours for 10 minutes of gameplay, yay!

Right now at this very time on the internet, I don't even see the servers... NA/EU list is GONE! ...gone in the wind like Garuda! XD

So now that the maintnence is up everybody will just be ready to press the play button after an hour and 30 minutes. Game on.
But still seriously, more servers, free character transfers. Those are literally your only options of fixing this. Or increase capacity by a lot. And also a better queue.
I got to log in! 5 minutes before maintenance starts. :'(
If you get the "World is currently full" message it means you just got screwed outta your que and are back at the start of the terrible and fruitless process. not sure why they are doing it this way, but it does seem a wee bit underhanded. I also today have gotten error 90000 and 2002 prolly more times than I can count. I don't mind the errors...who cares...what I do mind is getting kicked to desktop...gotta use my security key again.... this thing better have good batteries...its 3 years old now and ive used it more in the last two days than the entire life of ffxiv 1.0. This is definitely a bad early access. I feel like they need to dbl the servers, and give everyone who has a registered character before the new servers a server change option. the problem will work itself out then.

Gotta love the race to log in before others.... L o L FML.............

The 1.5 hr maintenance is to give the IT guys a smoke and bathroom break.
It's Maint now. Let's hope that this maint actually DOES something for a change =)
Hello,
I am not one who normally complains about game launches. I understand that at the launch of a game as large as an MMO there will be challenges. However, after my experience so far, I felt that I had to make a post in the hopes that develops/producers of the game will see this and reflect. From the purchase of the game through to the registration and eventual first login, this game experience has been abysmal. From confusing instructions to absolutely horribly designed websites which lead to a consuing process of logging in to various login screens all related to square enix and being unable to identify if you have actually registered a game or not. As if that was not enough, you then have a "head start" filled with clearly ill prepared servers running into issues from almost every angle.
I really want to play this game, as Im sure all of us do. However, running into a server is at capacity error on EVERY, EVERY, EVERY single server is unacceptable. Then to find out that these are self imposed limitations till you fix the issue??!!!! Take the servers down and fix the issue. You are punishing half your user base by not allowing them to take advantage of the head start. You should step in and provide an additional month free for all players who preordered as an apology. Now I defended your game to a friend as he bashed it on mumble earlier, but could not defend how poorly you have handled this launch. I truly hope this is not an example of how your on going support will be handled. Get it together
Good luck
Musashi
