They have to realize that some sort of AFK kick feature would help the problem. They have to.

I shouldn't be upset about anything at all using that logic.
The sheer amount of stupidity on these forums is the amazing thing.
This game was advertised as being ready to play for those who wanted to pay early. So far, the advertisement was deceptive.
Trying to pass of complaints as first world problems is becoming a stupid cliche.
Seriously Square? Almost EVERY MMO out there only has TWO to FIVE servers to choose from and they almost NEVER have this constantly full problem.
I can't believe of your near, like, 40 servers that they are ALL over filled?? Are you kidding me? I'm not joking, if I have to spend 45 minutes-4 hours trying to get into your game
after the true launch on the 27th you won't see another fucking dime of my money.
There are message boards and proper places to bitch about Syria. Syria doesn't belong in this thread. Just because you don't ALWAYS talk about something doesn't mean you aren't aware or don't care. Don't try to pass yourself off as a saint.
I'm not remotely upset that I can't play (it's certainly not the first time this sort of thing has happened) but the slow communication and the removal of queues is what bothers me the most. If we're not kept up to date, and we can't queue, our only option is to spend all our time repeatedly trying to log in, or give up trying to play altogether. It sort of makes it feel like we're being taken advantage of (since we're already fans) and like our time isn't respected. Yes, we've all pre-ordered, but I'd prefer to feel like SE is still trying to sell us on the game by providing good customer service. No matter how severe a problem is, good customer service alleviates a huge portion of the resulting angst, but even a small problem can rub a player-base the wrong way if customer service is handled badly.
The reason that we pre ordered it was to get into the early access. And WE are not "accessing" anything.
Is that hard to make a queue to the players. That will help with the refreshs on the mainscreen.
I already saw this queue before, but i thing it´s bugged.
I payed for the game for this? REALLY?
No, it wouldn't--not even a little bit. The servers aren't overloaded because of people standing auto-afk, they're "overloaded" because one component of the back-end matchmaking system cannot handle the number of requests it's getting. They have capped the max number of users online to prevent people from hammering this server. FFXI didn't kick AFKers and FFXIV won't either--stop barking up this tree, it's been discussed to death. Squeenix over-sold this game and they can't get more servers online fast enough to cope with demand. They are capping logins to buy themselves time while we all sit here miserable and angry trying in vain to log in over and over. What a @^#!-up, whoever planned out their server hardware needs a good solid kick out the front door for this, especially since beta had the exact same goddamn issues.
Leviathan people please log off and allow other players have chances to play .... dont be greedy or rude and afk in town
They payed for the game, they have a right to play it how they want, it's not greedy or rude to AFK in town, it's a right they payed for. It's square's fault for over-selling the game given the amount of server hardware they had available.
