All my friends are on the Marlboro server, I try to create a character to put on that server to play with them and it tells me this server is no longer accepting characters, wait for the restriction to be lifted or find another server. My question is Am i screwed? Can i not join that server?.... because i bought early access and i can't join the same server as my friends?? That is TOTAL BS if thats the case? Please help!

This is bullshit... How is it that I go out of my way to preorder this crap and Square promises preorder early access and I have to be locked out while all my friends are in? This is the type of shit that makes people leave for other MMO. This is silly and there is no excuse for SE... If you couldnt handle the launch you push it back instead of screwing people over.

It's the same on every server. Unfortunately guys, it looks like we payed extra for Beta phase 5, instead of early access. I have friends who haven't been able to play for even 20 minutes since early access started because of all the issues. This stuff should've been sorted out already.

Actually some did. As it got closer people got better deals on the web... Some were selling for like 20 bucks... Some people paid early over recent and did kinda get screwed on the money end.

No, still wrong. Whatever someone paid, they didn't pay EXTRA to access the game early. Early access comes standard for anyone who buys the game, they never offered a bundle with Early Access as an extra price.

I think when I bought the collector's edition, that counts as extra. I'm wondering why they didn't limit the number of early access codes like so many other places would have.

I can see where you think this counts, but I just can't agree that it does. You bought a whole new copy just to have EA. However, you didn't pay a fee that's only purpose of existing was to allow EA.

The purpose of my argument is to establish that there isn't a separate FEE for AE!
