The server is full, try again later (1017)

Apparently what most of you dont realize is that there WAS a queuing process ... at least there was before the maintenance that went from 08 00 GMT to 11 00 GMT (which is when I chose to go to bed)

Their queueing process sucks tho. It must have a max # of chars it can handle, because if you are LUCKY you might get in the queue, but most of the time you just get the ridiculous 'world is full' error and have to keep trying and trying. That is, like others have mentioned, the HEIGHT OF STUPIDITY. Get a clue, SE, create a decent queueing process.

I've been having this problem since 11 AM today. Diabolos.

Funny thing is I could create a new character on Siren.

Anyone able to get on Diabolos during that time?

The part that is killing this for me is just this sort of snowball effect that starts when I get my hopes up.

I was terribly excited for the initial 14 beta and release of 1.0. And all of these instability issues were there with random disconnects and crashes.

Now, I was terribly excited to play during Post Beta Early Access. And now at first I couldn't log in. Then I couldn't actually progress in any story content because the instance servers were having trouble. Then I'd get disconnected and be unable to log back in. Its fine when there is a queue, but telling me to try again later just makes me spam the log in, congesting the character server, until I get a queue. I put time aside from my packed schedule and work to make sure I could experience this 'early access.' I feel I had put my hopes too high and this game wasted far too much of my time.

Yes and you go into that queue as well eventually but you need to hammer through the 1017 error repeatedly before that happens.

I like when the queue pops with 500 people in front of you. Then when it is down to 10 you get error 1017 world full and you get booted from the queue. Immediately try to log again and you are in the queue with 500 people in front of you.

Aaaaaand its full again.

Why the f*ck it can't stay in the queue? Why I have to spam Start -> select character -> log in -> world full -> back at the start screen. Why can't it just wait until that f*cking OPENING IS AVAILABLE?!

same issue here and I've been locked out for 5 hours. I mean login restrictions for 2hours I can understand but a whole 5 hours what gives

Yeah I try to stay patient with this stuff, but this is bullshit. This needs to be fixed pronto.
