I had finally gotten into a queue with 2 people left and BAM 1017! WTF man seriously? I get into the actual queue and it STILL does that to me? Jesus christ they need to fix this stupid shit. It isn't normal to just expect your players to spam the login in order to even PLAY your game! Why is this not a higher priority???

I'm preaching to the choir here but I'd like to reinforce this point:

I'm aware that no new characters can be created on any NA/EU servers, thanks to a thread pointing this out.

However, the problem here is the login queue for servers appears to either be broken or purposely rendered unresponsive, leaving some people (like me) to repeatedly mash the login button until I get lucky (I did this for 30 minutes before I decided to do something productive). This problem is exacerbated by the apparent lack of an AFK logout timer and plenty of people on the servers know this exists, so they will simply idle to preserve their spot, thereby freeing up less slots for other players to play.

The most troubling part is the lack of a response. This thread is getting really huge really fast, a LOT of people are complaining and we all want to either play or get answers, and we have neither. The sudden lack of an official response of "There is a problem, this is what's happening, and we're working on it" kind of message where there were plenty before is especially troubling.

So, what's happening and why can't I play? And when will I?

i was saying that during the EA period... NA/EU servers had 6 to JP's 1 maintenance

yea i would like to be able to play the game i spent 40$ for and will be paying 13 a month for not sit ans wait for the worlds to be open when they never will be... whats the point of having a que system if its never used and were just told to wait for the world to open... fix this problem FAST or i cancel my subscription and bring my game back and get my money back

Well.. the game is released and the error 1017 is still there.... ok... what now? i paid for the game and i cant play it. I ask for the GM's for this problem and i ask a solution now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously this is getting beyond a joke, i have a family and work, i can only play this game 1-2hrs tops a day. i paid good money for it now let me in ffs, i was ok with it being error ridden in beta phase 4 and open beta, i didnt complain, but now it is a joke.
