Apparently someone is capable of logging in.Most MMO's are overflowed the first week or two of release. Guild Wars 2 was ridiculous and no one could get in for a week.
This is to be expected with any MMO. They buy the largest servers they can afford and don't expect numbers to reach that high, but they always do. Give SE a break and be patient.

It is not the fact that there are too many people trying to log in. I totally get that. It is the way it is set up. Yesterday my wife got in 3 times throughout the day (mostly after being booted out). Yet I sat there trying most of the day unable to get in at all. I would rather a 3 hour queue, then just randomly letting the person in who happens to hit the log in button at the right time.

Its hard at this point (release) to cut them anymore slack with the lack of clear communication that has been provided aside from blanket apologies. Most MMO's are overflowed the first week or two of release. Guild Wars 2 was ridiculous and no one could get in for a week.

Apologies are meaningless, what is important at this point is clear communication and timeframes of resolution. The post today was very confusing and unclear as to which datacenter (or both) they were referring to.
Everything up until today can be written off as early access woes. However, today is the official release and there are outstanding issues across the board:
1. A population of people who pre-ordered/bought the game still have not gotten their pre-order code or digital rights confirmation - players can't get access to the game
2. Server capacity has been lowered, mixed with no idle auto-disconnect feature keeps server at full or near capacity around the clock - players can't get into the game
-This causes people to game the system by leaving players logged in 24 hours a day in order to get around the login process and worsens the login wait times.
3. Some servers are locked to new character creation (on the day of release....) and cannot play with friends who are on a locked server - players can't play with friends
-The server queue system is not working, players get error 1017 a world is full and must sit and spam the login screen to try to get into the game
4. The error 90000 issue is still occurring and removes players from the game and depending upon time of day can't take extreme amounts of time to get in due to #2/#3
5. There has been no direct and clear communication from SE to the NA/EU datacenter customers about a plan to resolve the capacity issues or fix the queue system - This is the #1 rule of IT outages
Remember today is launch day, they had a 1 million player beta 10 days prior, they have historical evidence of prior AAA MMO launches, and this is an MMO re-release. Its very difficult for even the most patient of us to just sit here and hope.
Like i said a million times and i have posted on this we need AFK timers to kick out the inactive players to make the Q system work right.
私は100万回言って、私はこのに掲載されているように我々は右のQシステムを動作させるために非アクティブプレイヤーを追い出すためにAFKタイマーを必要とする。

Absolutely this. I don't understand how companies releasing AAA MMOs are always so unprepared on release day. And how in the hell is there not a properly functioning queue system or idle auto-kick? This is plus the lack of clear communication is simply unacceptable. Its hard at this point (release) to cut them anymore slack with the lack of clear communication that has been provided aside from blanket apologies.

every server has problems. Yoshi sold all the bandwith to Mario and now there is none left for anyone else. LOL
Yes thats what happened.
Bla, Bla, Bla...

You would think by this time, we would have heard something about a fix or new server being added (no a new server, but new equipment to expand existing servers).

What kind of fucking mmo doesn't have queue system in place and expects people to just mash the login button and pray that you're going to be lucky enough to get to play today? I've been a part of buggy mmo launches before but this catastrophe takes the fucking cake. I can't even form an opinion on the game itself yet because I've had so little actual time to play, It took me over nine hours on sunday to get in and start up a character and here I am AGAIN on my other only day off of the week from work having the same goddam issue again.
there is a Q system it's just full and that is why you get the try again error as the Q is full so you can't get into it.What kind of fucking mmo doesn't have queue system in place and expects people to just mash the login button and pray that you're going to be lucky enough to get to play today?
