havnt logged in but once in three days..... I have canceled my preorder... Amazing game.. just cant support this level of incompetence. It's like setting an appointment with me then no call no show. I don't care how good you are... you officially become dead to me. And actually for the first time ever I will be glad to watch SE burn away as a company. It is bullshit incompetence like this that makes people hate them

Obviously there are going to be some set backs, but eventually SE will increase the size of the servers besides in away early access is a way for the company sort out all the bugs. Essentially this means were still kind of a beta until they increase the servers, all mmo's have trouble with servers and the population in the beginning, these full servers are only temporary for now.

I hope to god they don't increase the size of the servers, they can barely handle the light load they have running on them now. I'm hoping for more servers, personally.

Frankly, on Saturday, I expected issues as they balanced servers and loads. By Sunday they should had all the reports to properly allocate resources. Monday should have been fine tuning.

However, there is absolutely no excuse for the lack of skills that this company has demonstrated for the NA / EU users in managing the server base. I am not sure who is managing their data centers but someone really screwed up sizing. Spending 3 to 4 hours pressing 0 does not lend itself to customer satisfaction.

Its not a code issue since Asian users are not reporting 1017 errors.

Since this is an MMO, and my guild decided to select Cactuar in beta 2 I am stuck with a lvl 24 toon i cant play due to a company that cannot properly manage their own systems and possible code.

Add me to the list of people complaining and feeding the trolls.

My solution will be to login when server pop is low and AFK, screwing someone else. Till Square learns, let the punishment be 1017 to people unlucky enough to logout. Is that evil, yes, but since i roll neutral morality ( I dont care) and I am not too loyal to a company that cannot properly plan nor execute a project

No. Early access = pre-launch = early access... NOT BETA.
I'm sorry, but people who claim it's part of Beta are so full of $h*t their eyes are brown.
The Beta was declared over - which means the game should be good - there is no legitimate excuse short of a solution.

Not sure how much of an improvement this is from 1.0. At least with version 1, I could log in. I feel sorry for those that pre-ordered with the hope of getting early access only to find that promise to be a lie.
