yeah but restricting the server limit is going to ensure failure..ive been playing since beta...got locked out the last day do to the bugs. Was able to play for a bit the 1st day of early access. But now i finally get a day off work tomorrow and im not sure ill be able to log in. These arent the old days where i can sit in front of monitors/tv all day. Im working 40-50 hrs a week and when i try to play a game to unwind i am unable to get into it? Im not one to go onto to forums for games and rage like alot of the people on here. In fact...i will continue to play this game cause im sure the issue will be fixed..and overall i enjoyed myself quite i bit with what i played in beta/early access. But this will def leave a bad taste in many peoples mouth. I get launch day blues..but alot of people have pointed out..this is not the dark age of the internet anymore. Square knew what was coming and it was poor prep on their part. Perhaps they are doing this on purpose to stress test?

They have come right out and said that they are using this restriction to test the load. Which would have been better off being done in Beta P4 by extending the NA/EU beta time after clearing 15K+ players from 3102 error hell. Instead they chose to let it ride and now have thousands of angry users who can't get logged in while they "wait and see".

Why is there not an AFK timeout to kick players out?

This would relieve a lot of the stress on the servers.

Oh the pain! Played MMOs from EQ 1 on. Played just about all of them. Never seen such a horrible launch. I was lucky enough to get on today after clicking over and over again. After a very short play time I zoned and got booted why zoning. SE does love to tease us!

I was a faithful player of FFXI for several years and waited patiently for the PS3 version of FFXIV to launch and now all I'm getting is "wait" "wait" "wait" "wait"......blah blah blah after they took $59.99 from me. How about you make this FTP until you get your shit fixed and WE can wait wait wait to pay you?

Seeing this going FTP with in first month, seeing 1017 continue and seeing ff14 arr failing all over again simply because of 1017 bs. i want a refund. 29.99 + 9.8% Tax

i really enjoyed the whole 4 hours i got to play this but its unplayable. i seriously want my money back square, or a game that works very soon. FYI the weekend is really close by... gonna easily be 4-6 times more people trying to play.. forums are gonna overload with 1017 bs.
