Unable to update the Group NA/EU Character List

This might be a measure by them to make sure people don't spam the server trying to log in. For an early access I sure feel that it's a terrible alpha phase with lots of drawback and server issues.
They should have anticipated the stress the servers would be put to and that's just early access, not official launch. Kinda sad that the JP servers are not having half of the problems we encountered on the NA/EU side... Makes us wonder...

This is infuriating. I have not been apart of MMO launch this bad in a long time. They aren't rectifying any problems. Their temporary solutions are only making matters worse. In the past 4 or 5 maintenance, they should have 1) Added a queue 2) Added a server transfer option 3) Seriously consider bringing down the game until all issues are resolved even if were to come down until official release. Everything they've done has just made the community, the people paying for this game, more upset by the minute. It seems like more and more people can't log on. So when they do increase the server capacity again, they won't need to because there won't be a population to support the need for it because the remaining population will either A) Go back to their previous MMO or B) Forget about MMOs in general and learn to never touch a FF MMO again. This is not over reacting because this is twice I have been screwed over by SE. First 1.0 and now with this. I paid my time during 1.0 for a successful relaunch and this have been everything but successful.

Had the unable to load error for about an hour, and am now getting a message saying that the world is full. Perhaps the two errors are related.

Did notice that the ping rate for the lobby was pretty slow for the past hour too, so maybe the lobby server (if it's separate--I'm not sure, just started following the game yesterday) was having issues.

After a bit, was able to load up and the unable to update group error had moved to the JP servers. I'll take small bits of fortune where I get them.

Managed to play a grand total of 30mins since I woke up about 8 hours ago. All my free time is at the weekend as well. -.-

I was playing for about 15 minutes after the maintenance ended (or was supposed to end) and then the game just crashed and on login all the NA/EU servers were down. Don't know what's going on but I'm about to give up...

Yeah... can't update. I did manage to get on... for maybe 3 minutes before being kicked and getting that error.

Its VERY annoying now. Hands down I'd say this easily qualifies as THE worst MMo launch in years. Yes, I know its early access, but all early access is a 'duck and cover' way to hide that its a launch.

Seriously, I understand there can be issues, but this is really just stupid now. They better have some good reparations for this horrible handling of things not one but TWO days, with the 2nd day being even worst then the first. Thats what Open beta is for to fix the issues, yet they only seem to be getting WORST somehow.

Next time, extend your open beta and test your stuff out more if you are having such basic problems going on.

this is not acceptable.. emm lets see ... thanking us for our patients? like we have a choice but to wait... not even able to load one NA/EU login not acceptable... server transfers would be pointless.. think of what it will be like at and after launch all the servers are already full... seems like they have too little hardware to run as many accounts that have sold... not acceptable... for SE not to have done the math and planned for access based on sales is a major fail... and certainly in not respect to us gamers in the NA/EU areas
