Unable to update the Group NA/EU Character List

I'd like to know why the hell, they don't communicate with us more than this? explain the issue (even if briefly).

If the servers can not handle this amount of players.... why not make more than the JP servers? or increase the capacity of each servers to allow more players in.

I honestly am disappointed, we will have to wait and see. Otherwise it will be unfair for us to start with release people if we pre ordered the game purely for early access.

If these problems we are having are going to persist at launch, they should push the launch date back until they figure out a permanent fix. Then once they get that worked out they should tack on free days for the ones that were missed because they weren't prepared.

That way nobody loses any free playing time and we still get a game that actually works just at a later date which is what should have happened in the first place.

I really like the game but admit I am not impressed with early access or how they are choosing to deal with server problems.

What I am worried about is about tomorrow, when more people will get into the servers. Limiting the number of users to log in is not an option... people paid for the access and SE is literally locking them out.

Either increase the capacity and lift the limitations or simply let people move their characters again to other servers, I bet at least 30% would move to the JP servers, which have had no issues at all through the whole EA.

I've been trying since around 9:00am CST and no luck for me. I'm just getting the 1017 server full error now.

It's been full for two hours. Even if you get in queue, it is still just as likely to boot you out with 1017, as i've seen.

OK lets sum this up...
36h into Beta5. Roughly 9h maint. Another estimated 4-6h logon problems.
An average person has slept about 6h or so. And maybe (i sure hope so) took a shower and did something else (like eating) worth like 3h in that time.
From the Beta5, SE has cost you more time than your sleep, your toilet sessions, showering and eating...

Thats really tough on me right now. Im sincerely pissed. Ridiculous.
As others did as well, i bought the game again (CE v1.0 owner, not legacy), to get in the Beta5. But now i requested refund. I mean you dont expect it to run smoothly. But the SAME Errors from the v1.0 BETA2 onwards... STILL? Really? Is that SE being serious about "fixing" stuff? Their Coders (in case thats the reason) could apply at microsoft, EA or Ubisoft. Thats just the level.
If its managementrelated ("Not gonna invest in NA/EU Servers. Look, we have 4 Pentium4 workstations there, install VMWare and boot those Servers!") then its just sad.

Another Idea: Lets swarm the JP servers to force them to act. I hope more will come.

Had this issue for hours. Just not bothering to log in anymore..

You would think many posts of this nature would make them stand up and say something further, or try to come up with an alternative solution. Some of them may be empty yes, but they really can't afford to lose anymore money on this, and this statement is exactly the opposite of what i'd want as a company.

LOL would i be wrong in saying this game is LOSING people at an alarming rate!!! crappy customer service beta code mess now there locking ppl out of ea because the cant fix the servers god knows whats going to happen come release day then again the will have the purchase price of the game .. but i think there losing subs very quickly WAY TO GO SE

The NA/EU server list is NOT DOWN!!! Join a JP server and log back out and the NA/EU Server List will come back up. This happens after about 25-30 attempted logins to a server. I still can't get into the server, but this is some sneaky tactics.
