    I know this is anecdotal at best, but I have a similar system to many of you having this problem (i5 2500k, gtx670, 16gb ram, win7 Ultimate) and I switched off the in-game frame limiter and haven't had any issues for the last few days. Shot in the dark, but it seems to be what was causing it for me.

    Would you mind providing specific instructions where to go to turn this option off? I would like to test it.

    It's in system config, display settings, right at the bottom.

    going to try this when i get back home. only new suggestion in the past 2 weeks...hopefully it will fix my problem as well
