That is really reaching into my bag of tricks without having you test every single compatibility mode. You could link and dump event logs and such and I could take a look at it.

I'm in way over my head with all this stuff lol, but I tried to do this and it wouldn't let me add it to the list: "This program must run with data execution protection (DEP) enabled. You cannot turn off DEP for this program."

As for how it crashes, the game freezes, sound effects continue for a few seconds (probably just finishes playing the ones that have already started), my two side monitors occasionally get massive tearing. This only lasts a second or two though, as it all then goes black and my monitors switch off due to "no DVI input". BGM continues to play but everything else is entirely responsive and I have to hard reset.
