Freeze/Crash & BSOD issues

I've never experienced a crash other then the error R6025 before untill last maintenance.. Since then, FFXIV just stops responding and exits, this happens atleast 3 times per hour.. Quite frustrating since I have not changed anything with my PC since trying to diagnose the R6025 months ago..

Hello,

I experienced the same issue with my Laptop but never with my desktop. It seems that with an external keyboard I have no problem playing with my Laptop. If I touch the embendeed keyboard I have a 100% hang up, my laptop is shutting down immediatly.

If you wanna play until they made an update on that issue the workaround is to use an external keyboard and mouse.

Experiencing lag spike and freeze issue just after the recent maintenance. It gets disconnected 7 out of 10 while teleporting or entering instances.
It is getting pretty annoying.

So now I pay so much to play this game that I did like and now you people can do F-all about the freezing part? Sure it's your video card they say so you have to do this and that but really it is the games patch they had. I can't even play for 10 mins with -out it freezing up on me and like a lot of other people who are tired of this crap have to use the reset button.
So now that I can't get in game because of you screwing up the game, can I get my money back for the months that I haven't played and probably won't be able to play till you FIX!!!! it.

im getting also now bluescreens since 2 days (only in final fantasy). bluescreenview show me bug check code->0x00000116 and caused by driver dxgkrnl.sys. i play now since 22 days without any problems since 2 days ago.

system:

i7 3770k (not oc´ed)
gtx 570 phantom
16 gb 1600 mhz ram
asrock z77 xtreme4

i also get the bluescreen with driver version 327.23.
it would be awesome if someone know how to solve that problem

the game WILL NOT shutdown your computer

Shutting down is a symptom of

• Overheat
• overcurrent
• faulty power supply

wrong. He didnt say shut down, he said he has to press reset which is totally different, a computer will shut its self down to protect its self from damage such as over heating) providing the bios is setup correct.

When alot of us are having to press reset this is because the computer has locked up which is due to software failure, ive never had windows or any other games do this on me as regular as it dows with ffxiv. Basically the codin for this game sux, the servers are crap and the vs is worse. Think before posting bs plz. Thx.

The game will not FREEZE the computer unless the computer is already operating in a faulty state.

mm ok ... and why it is only on this game? (among the other 30 games that I have and normally functioning)
and why it occurs so completely random? one day is working for five hours in a row and the next day the problem may come every 10 minutes?
why this occurs on pc very recent, as on older?
why SE advised to check some of the material conflict, as with some sound card?
I believe very sincerely that the problem is primarily software - not hardware - and that whatever our adjustment and other handling, it can not solve the problem because it is aillor.
That said, by dint of trying to solve this problem, it may be that our computer will eventually be damaged, really.

@ Alileus: how long, you test your method? because the downgrade had worked for a while at home, then returned ...

I was having issues with freezing and game crashing on my wife's PC. What solved the problem so far (2 day without issues) is limiting the FPS to 30 and using the nvidia drivers 312.44 (I believe that is the stable version people suggested here). Will keep you all posted if something happens.
