well, still getting BSODs intermittently
sometimes i can play for a few hours, others just a few minutes.
tried new drivers, beta drivers, older drivers
fresh install of the game, fresh install of windows
even tried manually setting video card states with nvidia inspector
given the intermittent nature of the problem, it *could* be my end and something is drastically wrong with my hardware somewhere - but I've left other 3d applications running for hours without issue, will leave one open over night and see if it crashes or not
I got an error where it freezes the screen for a few mili-secs, then it gives an Windows Error:
FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn has stopped working.

Tryed installing new drivers, same happens;
Tryed to fully uninstall drivers and re-install new ones, same happens;
Tryed to run the game as ADMIN, same happens;
Trying to play the game at max settings and minimal settings, same happens;
I dunno what else to do... its contant game freezes, over and over... Today at AK; i got 5 freezes and had to fully reconnect to be able to continue it. People wiped to bosses and got kinda mad, left at the 2nd run.
Sometimes in towns, sometimes near no-one, sometimes in ares full of ppl, sometimes in dungeons, sometimes in crafts, it will freze totally random.
Sometimes even at the Character selection it will freeze...
I'm getting kinda annoyed and i wish i didnt pay it today.

I've been having similar issues, since day one. My thread is here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...client-crashes

I get constant crashes here. Not only does the game crash but it locks up my whole computer with a loud buzzing sound then the whole thing shuts down, this usually happens within minutes of logging in, but sometimes I can play for a short while. I've tried the newest drivers, beta drivers and older drivers and always the same thing. I've cleaned inside my case and reseated components, I've done fresh installs of the OS and the game and I've even blocked windows updates after a clean install to see if that might have been the problem and still the same thing happens. I've disconnected all other devices from my PC and I have nothing else installed except for the drivers and ARR.
As others have said The alpha and beta went smoothly and apart from server issues so did early access. This seems to have arisen since an update a few weeks ago however for a short while I didn't receive any crashes; but now they are back as bad as they were originally.
GTX 570 (stock) GPU
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition CPU
Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM
Corsair TX 750 PSU
SanDisk 120GB SSD
Windows 7 Home Basic x64
New Nvidia and AMD drivers as of 9/19/2013
Could giver those a try.
Came here to say that I upgraded to the most recent drivers for Nvidia. Running SLI GTX480's and I am still bluescreening. I can't even get to the character select before my computer shuts down from BCCode 116.
I'll try disabling SLI, but would be very annoying if that's the only way this game will work. I hate having to switch between SLI and not for other games that work fine with it.

installed new driver and i had lots of window driver stoped in like 3 times in 2 hrs , so i went back to my old driver , now i get 1 crash in 3 hrs but i still want to get it fixed
Add me to this list.
Asus Sabertooth Z77
Intel I5-2500k
8GB Ram
EVGA 570 GTX
Windows 7 Home Premium
750w Ultra X3 PSU
The game ran flawlessly from P4 to the 15th at max settings, never crashed once except for normal game errors like 90k. THen on the 15th i got my first crash. Computer restarted and i had a BSOD error. Since then i've had about 8 more crashes, each one the same. Screen goes black and then my computer restarts. sometimes i get a bsod error window when it comes back on, othertimes i don't. Each one is a Kernal-Power 41 Error in the Event log. It has only crashed when playing FFXIV.
I ran the benchmark, no crashes. I leave my computer on all night, no crashes. Yet when i start playing, it will randomly crash. It doesn't matter if the settings are on max or min, if my video card ir under or over clocked. It's not overheating. I've updated and downgraded my videocard drivers with driver sweeper.
None of the crashes seem to be related, I've crashed when walking to a market board in Limsa. I've crashed when first logging in and zoning into my innroom (Never actually getting past the loading screen). Yesterday i went like 7 hours without a crash, so far today i've crashed twice in the last 6.

I'm also getting BSODs and CTD.
Intel i7-3770K
32GB RAM
Asus GTX780 x2 in SLI
Windows 8 Pro
I was hoping it was incompatible software so I reinstalled Win8 but no dice.
Full reinstall of the game onto an SSD but still crashing randomly
