Updating to the latest Nvidia beta driver solved it for me; so far. I have my doubts but it hasn't crashed in the short time I've had to play lately. Of course, I realize we aren't all getting the same errors or causes but it's something to try.

This is getting very annoying. SE please do something about it. Yesterday and the day before was fine, only 1 crash. Today, played for less than 2 hours and 3 crashes, 2 of which were BSOD and 1 was very weird. (picture bellow). I've also noticed that today all crashes happened when I was in a dungeon. So maybe that has something to do with the problem?
This is the screen I've got on the last crash:

this is excatly what i have encountered today,
i launched ARR for 10 hrs today with no problem, but when it goes into the 11 hrs...game crash
--> reboot and crash --> reboot and cash.......
i am using GTX670 with average temperature 70

It may or may not be relevant, but I have noticed that my in-game sound has stopped working, then shortly after is when the game will crash. I 'think' this was the case on all three of my lock-ups/freezes, Event 41 Kernel issues.
After I hold the power button down to get my machine to reboot and it comes back up, the sound is working in game again.
For the record, my system sound is always working fine, because I am in Mumble chatting with friends while gaming. I was every time I got the Event 41 Kernel issue in game and Mumble sound was working just fine.
The Old Timers Guild
Interesting. Not sure if this has solved anything (as I have had days where I can play with no issue) but I updated my graphics drivers to the latest beta versions and It's been ok for hours today but I just right now tried to teleport to Gridania and I got a crash, but not a system crash, a Visual C++ runtime error. Not sure if unrelated or because I changed my drivers but thought I'd mention it. I will be monitoring the game over the next few days as I fully expect the system crashes to come back but if by some miracle they are gone (or replaced with this runtime error) then it's a step in the right direction.
I am having problems as well with my new rig, running a Nividia GTX 670 on the 320.49 driver. I've used BETA, and an earlier driver as well, took the settings to the lowest graphic settings (gross btw), windowed, full screen, doesn't matter. The crashes however are random, and so far the game will always come back to the screen and run 60 fps only in the lowest graphics settings, but the sound ceases to work. The game isn't the only thing, it is my whole system, itunes, youtube vids, nothings. So this forces me to restart my computer to get sound back, although I could continue to play.
I also have this issue, on top of shimmering textures/shadows/light/brightness (and I've tried everything to make things work), lag and latency issues. Here's my system and benchmark information:
System:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit (6.1, build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130318-1533)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz
16366.664MB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690(VRAM 4014 MB) 9.18.0013.2049
Score:14833
Average Framerate:142.526
Performance:Extremely High
-Easily capable of running the game on the highest settings.
Temps:
30-50 degrees Celsius on everything.
I got to play for 2+ hours oday with no crashing. The only fixes I tried were the PhysX run off CPU and the whole Display Driver Uninstaller. Once I get into a longer gaming sessions I hope that it truly is fixed!
kind of annoyed that i built a brand new computer from scratch and this problem occurs. can't change my video card to see if thats the problem because the company won't exchange it just because it doesnt work for 1 specific game
Same here man, finished my build 4 days ago and this is the only game that doesn't work properly. luckily I'm not having any BSODs but the FPS is dreadful even though I scored 11.5k on the benchmark.
