New error 1017 =/

I've rolled a toon on a JAP server for all this downtime. Seems very little difference in connection speed with me to the EU servers.

Well it's ok to gradually let in more players to see what the servers can handle (if anything), but what is up with that stupid message? "Please wait until an opening is available and try again." How exactly are we supposed to know when an opening is available in order to try again, a ouija board?! Why can't they just put us all in a queue, even if there end up being 2000+ players in it? As it is, only the lucky ones who happen to try at the right instant even get into a queue, let alone online. This is so annoying, the whole weekend has dwindled away and I (like everybody else) thought at least I could play on Sunday evening before having to work again tomorrow, but now it's 8pm in Finland and no sign of getting to play the game. I wonder if this will get any better with Tuesday's release and yet more players trying to get online. >_<

Because the servers were brought back up (I was speaking to two friends who were in playing on my server) I tried logging in and was put into a queue. When the queue was refreshing, I was given error 1017, informing me that the world is full and to try again later. I have restarted my client and still encounter the error. I also tried to make a new character on a lower population server and was given the same error, so it's not just because of the server I play on.

As a side note, if my friends and I weren't so invested already, we'd move servers because I really feel Gilgamesh is too populous. Server transfers? =D

Yah I just had to laugh when I read that update on the Lodestone. WTF are they talking about? We cant even get the server list now.

Login Limitation After Emergency Maintenance (Aug. 25)
After the emergency maintenance on the North American/European data Worlds which was conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 25, to confirm the optimization of the matching server for the Duty Finder, we will be limiting the login more than usual. We will be relieving the limitation gradually as we see oversee the status.

I guess it was a mistake to dedicate this weekend to the game.
So I should just remember: Do not preorder and beleive I can actually play an online game at launch.
It's the same with all games now.

I don't understand why the Japan servers work so well but not ours.

I don't understand why the beta wasn't this screwed up. There was just as many people on. They need to just undo whatever they changed last week >_>
