Actually, that site is kinda unreliable. It said NA and EU was down all day yesterday, yet they where up fine. The best bet is to use the official one on The Lodestone.

server can't be down when i'm on mumble with people playing on it. SE takes an interesting approach to a full server... Server is full, we could put you into a queue but instead go F yourself.

I'm really starting to run out of excuses to defend this anymore. Four emergency maintenances in 24 hours, with none of them so much as helping the problem in the slightest makes me wonder if they are even capable of fixing it, or if it will persist until enough people simply give up and quit playing.

Serves are still down according to launcher, but the post they made said they ended it 30 minutes ago...

It isn't a permanent restriction or anything. I was in bed but, from what I read, after the overnight maintenance they started with a login limit and slowly increased it as a method to avoid the equivalent of a DDOS attack on the DF server as everyone logged in and spammed their quest instances. They may be doing the same thing again.
