I've yet to come across a data center that was completely full and unable to take on new servers. And I work with datacenters (I control the logistics of hardware going in/out of the financial district's datacenters in Edinburgh). xD

Ok so your familiar with then the concept of what SE should be paying for a Managed Datacenter. There should be ample servers there ready to go they would just need to be loaded and configured wghich is fine because we would never see it, but at the same time SE could simply notify us or rent the servers and boom problem solved. This is why you pay admins the big bucks on a major launch like this they would be working overnight in teams to get the new servers up running and tested.
