    Go watch a documentary called "The Corporation". They're legally obliged to not hate us and do right by us as doing their best to keep us happy creates revenue for them. Also, it's most likely that the game is just a lot more popular in the Western world than they expected, so the NA/EU servers are a lot fuller than the JP servers, hence more issues. I'm not going to pretend I don't have my own fair share of complaints, but let's keep them logical.
