chat bar on ps3

My chat bar keeps moving with every maintenance. How do I get it moved back to the left side?

What do you mean 'chat bar'? You mean the chat box right?

Ya the one that let's u chat in the linkshell and shows shouts. It was on the far left when I started. Now its all the way on the right and I can't read what half of being said

Yes the chat/game log window has moved to the bottom right of the screen and cannot be re-positioned.

If on ps3 try L1+R3 and position the cursor over one of the tabs and hold I believe L2 down while using the right thumb stick to place the box where you would like it.

You can reposition it. I believe it's in HUD Customization. I'm at work and not in front of my PS3, so not sure. But there is an option to move the various windows around.

There is no option to move the game log/chat window in the HUD customization.

Ya don't think I can move it. Just wish it didn't cut off half of what was being said
