Black screen flash, game comes back with MASSIVE FPS loss.

This has been mentioned before, on the beta forums. I figure not so much anymore because of all of the server errors, but it is a problem that's been confirmed with other players.

My GPU is GTX670, driver version 9.18.13.1106.

Windows is telling me the driver version is up to date, but I've also heard of people rolling back to a previous version to fix this FPS problem on FFXIV.

If anyone else has had this problem and has managed to fix it, mind sharing with me?

Haven't seen this issue since phase 3, thought it was resolved. Rather than rolling back your drivers, try downloading the newest beta drivers instead. Otherwise, I often found that alt+tabbing, either to desktop or a browser, looking at Facebook for a couple minutes then tabbing back to the game made the FPS loss resolve itself.
