    CANNOT access support AT ALL (cannot login)

    I am from EU.

    Hello, I've been making a couple of threads now in the past few weeks asking for help with the same issue but no one has given me a single answer towards this issue so far.

    I haven't been able to login to the support at all (except once for some reason, but after that not even once). I've tried renewing my ip, trying different connection, different device, tried google dns, but nothing seems to work.

    I get this issue


    Now don't get me wrong, I'm fine with the game not working for a few days during the initial rush, but however I am NOT fine with not being able to access any form of support and because of that not being able to ask for refund in the timeframe it has to be asked for or any other support.

    I've tried both NA and EU support, neither work.

    Oh that must be awful for you

    Maybe it would be best to just telephone them? The only problem with that is the call would not be free.

    If you are located in the UK, I have the number for them if you want it.

    Other than that, if maybe you posted about the problem that you needed support for here, (forgive me if you already have) some of the knowledgeable people here may be able to assist.

    Thank you for taking your time trying to find me a solution. Unfortunately however I am from finland and I believe with the current contract I have calling out-of-country number would cost me a lot.

    Regarding to the specific issue I have, there really isn't any other than me being concerned with not having any cd-key and because of that not being able to attach one-time password (android) to my account. I only have the pre-order early access code and the game is bought from square enix EU store and the account management system seems to require a cd-key attached to the account to be able to enable one-time password.

    I would just really appreciate for the support to work at all since it seems to be working with everyone else (which probably means my issue with the support not working will never get fixed). It's a bit concerning not being to ask for any help right now or in the future I might have with the game. (the forums also barely work, most of the time logging in fails)

    I'm in Denmark so I understand what you mean... I called the UK yesterday and dread the cost as I was on quite a long time.

    I would suggest that you make your Square Enix without the One Time Password option as you can add it in later by linking the Security Token (or the Android app) to it. I have a lot of friends that do not have the Security Token so do not have to enter the 6 digit code each log in.

    I also believe that you can make a Square Enix Account without a CD Key. (I have a Square Enix account already so cannot confirm this, but I dont have a CD Key for this game yet due to them not being sent out with the order confirmation emails)

    But yes, try creating a new Square Enix account without the One Time Password part and let us know from there.

    I'm not sure if I misunderstood, but I'll try to explain. I meant I can log in to the square enix account management (literally everything else works except support and the forums work sometimes) and there it says I can't attach a one-time password to my account because I have not added any cd-key to my account. However I have purchased the game from square enix EU store and it is on my account (atleast it says registered on 7th of august).

    I would believe the problem is that the system does not understand to link my account management account and my square enix EU account together, because when I log in to the account management it says this:

    however this is the date I registered my beta key on and not the date I bought the game on.

    To recap:
    I have bought the game from square enix store on 7th of august
    the account management thinks I only have beta on my account and lists the date of June 21st (because that is the date I registered my beta on)
    I have not received any cd-key other than early access code which I've already applied to my account and I want to apply one-time password (android) to my account, but it tells me I have to apply a retail cd-key before I can do so.

    Oh I'm sorry if I misunderstood also.

    You should still be able to play the game without that CD Key until you receive it. I dont think any EU players have received it yet, myself and husband included.

    Follow the link in your Early Access Code email to download the game client and see if you can get in. (Maintenance is on right now so 7:30 PM DK time)

    Oh so EU people will get the cd-key eventually? Then my problem is pretty much solved for now, thanks for the help. It is really appreciated!
