Your comparison of experiences is like comparing horse poop to cow poop and saying that the cow poop is much better. Either way its still shit.

is it because of soooooo many players, if so why arent they opening new worlds or servers up so that on launch day when even more people hop on this game we wont have these problems, its just going to keep getting worse cause they are already maxing out all of these worlds

Have you checked your Connection to EU/NA servers yet and compared it to JP one's. I bet it will say Excellent connection on JP and Good when EU/NA is up. Why you think that is? My guess: JP either has less people playing on theirs or EU/NA is crappy servers. I hope cause of less people. With that note just get with a group you run with and migrate over to JP servers I found that it runs so flawlessly. 4 of us have our toons on JP an EU/NA when we all can't get into EU/NA we log into our alts and try our servers when it comes up. I will be asking the group if we should just stay on JP tomorrow.

yea i havent even been able to play the game but for a few hours then was booted do to server maintenance and now the servers are up it wont let me choose my world to log into kinda getting upset that i preorderd for nothing i figure they would have these issues resolved seems how there was 4 phases of beta some on SE!!!!

1.0 flopped because of the combat system and pretty much everything except connection issues.

Of course it flopped cause of that when people saw it was crapp and they weren't going to fix they left. It never made to full capacity. I was there when they migrated servers so they wouldn't loose money having so few on.

Yes version 1.0 flopped for very different reasons (it sucked), but a problem is still a problem.
I am trying to be patient and give SqEnix the benefit of the doubt, but they have lost a lot of player confidence and trust due to 1.0 and they should have already and should be doing right now more to maintain what goodwill that the players giving them a second chance have left.
What worries me the most is that with this many problems with "early access", things will be so much worse come Tuesday with the official launch.
