Thread: The real issue, there are more then 5000 people that want to play on each 1.0 server.

It seems assumptions on how many people would go back to 1.0 servers was wrong. And this is only the Early Access. I think a plan need to be made to allow these servers to split up a bit. maybe create a second server for each 1.0 server. Allow people from each of those worlds to migrate to their second server. Allowing for the ability to split each server but not letting people just freely move around.

the ability to move entire free companies and not lose progress would be a big plus as well.

for the queuing server, perhaps you should create groups of worlds that are on the same queuing server so that the system is not overloaded.

Part of the plan is deviding the DF into a dungeon system and separate Quest system.

THe other aspect is changing server setup on data servers that are not set to route data right. That takes time. There will have to be a patch.

Sadly is like NA/EU data centers need new/higher quality/bigger servers.

SE not learn from 1.0, the bad part was servers/programs running it.

It might also show that word of mouth from 1.X players to their friends helped some too. I've been really surprised how many new players are on Sarg and still spawning. I Wonder if playing with friends also means playing with my 1.0 Friends more often than i expected.

Think the next issue may be those who are still in starting areas, so to speak, by launch because of the issues. And launch players coming in. Part of the bonus of early access for a game company is thinning the numbers in the starting areas. I'm sure its in their best interest too for us to be lvl 20+ in a few things by official Launch.

This is what I dont understand. If you are doing a solo quest/instance... it still gives you a duty finder error... Why would you need to use duty finder at all for solo quests and solo instances? That doesnt make any sense to me...
