[Suggestion] Display the actual benefits that food/drink gives on the status screen

As things currently stand, the use of food and drink when it comes to combat is total guess work and experimental. I'm not asking for status buffs or debuffs to be in the actual food or drink description, but just showing a well fed icon really isnt helping us to know what the food/drink actually helps our character with.

The well fed icon should stay, in order to show players when they can eat another food of a certain type again, however, once a player eats something, the different stats that were effected should have +10 or -10 for example, next to them. Also if a drink causes an extra regen or refresh effect, the icon for that effect should be visible on screen as well.

Not only would this benefit disciples of war or magic, but also culinarians, since food and drink would be in demand due to the majority of players actually being able to see what the food does without extensive testing and having to resort to a wiki, similar to the upcoming improvements displaying enemy rank when necessary.

I believe Yoshi-P said he'd look at food and showing stats that come from it after the big battle changes because a lot of things are going to change. Wouldnt be practical to change it beforehand.

Better yet display the food properties when mousing over the well fed icon at the top of the screen.

Also add food stats to the food information in the inventory, as the poster above said guessing what food does is a waste of time and money.

But I want to have to look up the stats on a website. I'm hardcore.

Are those supposed to be implemented when 1.17 hits? Yoshi made it seem that way in his 4/1 letter...or at least the majority of it.

I would love to be able to actually sell what I cook, and I think a good start to this is allowing the players to actually see what the food does for them. Obviously, the food is there so it does something. But I constantly get badgered about what all the foods do, which I have mostly memorized by heart now, lol. However, all I have is are other sites to base my knowledge off of. It would be nice to see in game what my food does rather than have to go to something offsite.

They need to both do this and, change the way divine boost is handled.

It's too unwieldy to have to change your stats around to achieve the desired food effects. Make it rank-based only.

Are you certain it is solely based on stats? I'm sure I've gotten a divine boost from an HQ food before that happens to be something Miqo'te prefer. That is both crafted food and raw food. Also, I have HQ'd apple juice and gave it to an Elezen friend who also got a divine effect from it and before only a tasty. I guess I could see the stats coming into play for that, but then why do some races prefer those foods as well? Just a bit confusing to me and I wish I had more information on these things from the game itself.
