Can't start downloading game data until the 27th?

I missed out on Early Access (didn't realize I needed to make a JP account if I wanted to pay with a JP credit card).

So, I bought the pre-order PC download version through the Square Enix store. After I completed the transaction, there was a "Download" button. I got that, and it was just the launcher. On the instructions it says to log in through the launcher, then game data will be downloaded.

When I try to log in through the launcher it gives me a the message

"You could not log in because the service account in question is not registered. If you would like to log in to the service, please log in to the Square Enix Account Management System and register the service account."

When I try to do that, it says that Registration Codes can't be registered until the 27th.

So, does this mean I have to wait until the 27th, register my code, THEN it will start downloading??

Yes that is exactly what that means. You missed out on "early access" lol. :P

I know I won't be able to play before the 27th...but I thought I'd be able to have the game downloaded and ready to play by then.
