Speaking of the ECHO, i remember having it once in the GLD lvl 30 quest, after half way i realise how strong it was making me, so i intentionally died to start over removing the buff.
Where am i getting at ? ECHO being added to Coil after 2.2.
I hope alot of people will have the decency to get rid of the buff when failing whatever turn theyre doing.
Coming from Demons soul, Dark souls and more recently Dark souls 2, im not afraid to say that if it was me, i'd rather fail all day than get a win nor me or the group deserve
I didnt clear T5 yet, but it annoys me already to know lot of players will complete T1-5 only because they have the ECHO helping them.
Kinda like T2 allowed lot of bad players to get past T2 and would never have if they were doing it legit.

Must say I am confused. I never ever saw that buff and I play since release lol. I thought this was about the upcoming echo buff for Coil but this thread started last Year already. So we do have a "helping hand" buff in place already now? Where and how do you get it? When you wipe 10 times on a job quest or also in instances?
To remove it, just right-click the buff off at the top of your screen.
After failing a soloed instance quest, when you go in again you'll see a message as part of the instance start-up spam that "The Echo gives you power beyond your limits" (or something similar. Not sure if it applies on any failure or just if you die.Must say I am confused. I never ever saw that buff and I play since release lol. Thanks for the explanation. Can't remember if I ever had it although there was the one or other job quest where I died once or twice before I completed it.
I think Echo for regular instances kicks in at about the third or fourth attempt.
This really means : "Look, i'm better than the other !"I hope alot of people will have the decency to get rid of the buff when failing whatever turn theyre doing.

People will do it easily, yeah, so what ? Don't think that they deserve it less than people that waited to be in full ilvl 90 gear to kill Twintania.
It's just a game. Play it the way you want.
