Power of the Echo... Questing

I was just watching my son as he was attempting to complete the same quest for the 5th time. I noticed, as he started the quest, a message saying something to the order of "The power of the Echo grants you extra strength". He then proceeded to beat the quest with no effort what so ever.

At that point I remembered reading something the Producer had said regarding this.

This is fine and dandy for people who don't want any challenge but some of us would rather fail 100 times than to have the system automatically empower us to beat the quest/battle with little to no effort.

I think, at the very least, there should be a setting allowing us to Enable/Disable this feature. Please, I beg you, do not force this help upon us.

This is seriously one thing that would lead me to depart the game. If nothing is done to stop this kind of thing from being forced on those who prefer a challenge, where will it stop? I dare say it wont!

The "Power of Echo" is a little buff that you can remove if you don't want it.
I remove it all the time cuz I hate it ;P

Eh, it's a little stupid. Especially considering just how much of a buff it gives you (rediculously strong). I just click the little icon and go on about my day.

I havent even noticed the icon.. what does it look like, and where does it appear?

It appears where regular character buffs go. For example protect, food etc.

On another note does anyone know how much it buffs health and damage?

Honestly, I'm not really all in for this echo buff business in coil BUT new turns are coming out. T5 is needed to unlock T6 and I would like to have more people being able to do T6 for when my static isn't raiding. I have a feeling my first few weeks of T6-9 pugs when my static isn't running is gonna be an elitist fare.

As long as T6-9 provides a challenge, the buff doesn't mean anything as you will only get outdated gear. Good thing is that, if you are trying to beat it first time buffless, you can cancel the buff out

Yoshi-P has already said you can opt-out of using the Power of the Echo buff at any time. Nobody is forcing you to use it.

after doing some tests in instanced battles ofc i intentionally failed in them

after i got the echo buff my max dmg & HP got buffed by around 25%
