I don't understand why they haven't tried either of these methods. With the AFK players, it's a vicious cycle; nobody can get online because the servers are so clogged up, so once finally people do get online, they never ever log out... adding to congestion.

Implement a system that auto-kicks players who have been AFK for more than 15 or 30 minutes. And for god's sake, extend the size of the queue! I'd be perfectly okay with getting spot #1200 in the queue and waiting 1.5 hours to get in. I'm not ok with spamming the log-in buttons for 3 hours with no idea as to whether my efforts will eventually pay off.

We can deal with queues. But the "sorry, come back later" is a big slap in the face. Locking players out and hoping the problem deals with itself is NOT a solution.
