About Us
Excelcius is a gaming community which revolves around friendship, fun and entertainment. In that its founding members have built up a rich gaming history together. Several of them have even been sharing their gaming experience for half a decade and lasting friendships have been formed. As our circle of friends kept growing larger, we have set up this initiative to form a lasting community!

Our primary focus is FF XIV: ARR. In which we are a large rank 8 FC. Formed on the 24th of August, 2013, we are part of the oldest, still active FC's on this server. Over this course of time we've maintained a friendly, thriving community and still continue to grow. We currently have 8 static groups running endgame content and have a weekend group in the making. Additionally we have numerous active social members in our midst. With roughly 70 - 80 active members, you never need to play alone!

As members of Excelcius we do not thrive to play mediocre at best. When we do something, we seek to give it our all. Which can range from performing in endgame raiding, seeking to become the wealthiest player dominating auction houses or leading the charts in multiplayer titles. We will however never expect our members, our friends, to sacrifice their real life duties and priorities over our gaming goals. Over the course of FF XIV: ARR's history we've thus far lived up to this. Remaining part of the select number of guilds on the server to clear endgame content in its progression stage.

Active times for Raids and Events:
* Tuesday - Thursday Raid Groups 8 PM - 11pm CET.
* Friday - Monday Raid progression mashups, mixed group content pushing for those weeking more raiding time 8 PM - 10/12+ CET.
* Friday - Sunday Weekend Raid Group.
* Extremes and non-progression raiding content on frequent basis if demand is high enough.
* Dungeon parties, hunting parties and FATEs by members.

Yesterday's maintenance appeared to have a good outcome. A few errors here and there but many members had a much easier time getting ingame!

Had a good farming session last night, Ifrit weapons handed out to several recent 50's. Tomestone farming continuing tonight. Still looking for additional members, in particular a few extra healers and tanks are desired!
