Chocobos are even in non-final fantasy anime, can we have them too? :D

Today I was watching the second episode of one of the new anime series aired in Japan nowadays (Dog Days, a fantasy-cutesy anime series) and I had already noticed that there were some "horsebirds" (:P) quite similar (if not identical) to chocobos.

So far all's normal and fine. Then I hear the following line "She's arrived on the battlefield! Her Chocobo looks imposing as usual!!!"

And then I laughed

Looks like nowadays even non-final fantasy anime get official full-fledged chocobos (and I couldn't find any affiliation of the series with Square Enix)
Can we have them too, pretty please?

that looks like a miqo'te riding it also... I'm soo gonna see if i can find it :3 and watch it.

no it was a good anime just Link acted like a horn dog was a bit much since in all games he the strong silent protaginist. Not a firtly kissy face. I recall one called "sing for the unicorn" He was going to use a rope to swing in the princesses bedroom and ask for a kiss. He told the king of hyrule this and........ the king cheered it on >.>;;

I played just about every zelda game Link was not the kissy type. Even in Majoras mask when he had to fill in as a rock star who ended up being a baby daddy with the singer. ooooooooooooo........ XD

yep, in the first episode the princess calls her bird something like a Cellkull, but it may be a different species. The second episode one definitely looks more like a chocobo, and it's unmistakable, they call it "chocobo"
I didn't initially believe it myself, so i watched the scene again a few times to make sure

It's about the 11:30 mark.
