From what various forums have posted on this, the jist of what Yoshida's saying is
*some recipies are too complex
*battle system changes are not the only ones in the works
*company info next week end
Also his post above the one we're all talking about seems to be a joke about having patience
This is only what i can gather indirectly.. It'd be awesome if we could get someone to translate.
Hope they are talking about cooking. HERE COOK THIS THING WITH 8 INGREDIENTS WHICH ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THE MARKET AND COST BETWEEN 4-10K EACH FROM AN NPC! THEN NPC IT FOR 300 GIL WHEN NO ONE WANTS TO BUY IT CAUSE IT IS CERTIFIABLY USELESS. HAVING FUN YET?
if your talking about the weekend part, that's not a misunderstanding, he says in his post
"グランドカンパニーは公式情報が週末~来週にかけてリリースできる予定です。"
"Information regarding grand company is planned for release next weekend"
the kanji in bold directly translates to weekend-next week
I took a look at the crafting post too, its pretty long so i dont want to translate the whole thing, i'll do it in point form,
* team feels that current recipes require to much materials, and they plan to review this & change recipes for items
* issue where materials needed require higher lvl crafting then the item being made.
* these changes are not to destory the economy for crafts (i guess by making crafting easy) but rather hoping to inprove the system for a better economy
*they plan to make it so lvling crafting/gathering up to R20 will be easy
*R20+ will be able to directly participate in the market and economy of the game
*Crafters will be able to personally adjust aspects/parameters of the item they make, even if the item rank is the same, different classes require different parameters. (not sure what he means, since this issue can be resolved by creating class specific items, maybe hes refering to stuff like haubergeon, which is used by mrd/lnc/gld, maybe crafters can adjust stats depending on the class they are creating it for.
**got to watch my nephew for abit so i'll translate the rest in afew mins if someone does not do it already.**
*

Good info, but why make getting to R20 easier? After the leve update getting to 20 is a cakewalk on pretty much everything DoH.if your talking about the weekend part, that's not a misunderstanding, he says in his post

I don't even get the point of this. The average players I know can get R20 in 3 days. I actually find it shocking they keep making is so easy to get R20. Usually games wait a couple years before making the early levels so simple.
Maybe because we can level multiple class?
Aion Zwei - Masamune

That just makes it more odd. It's harder to level in other games when you have to make a new character and gear each character, so after the games been out a while it's understandable.
It is very easy to level in XIV to 20 as is, especially as a crafter. I don't really see what the point in making it even easier is. I guess the appeasing of the "I WANT IT NOW!" players continue.
IMO it seems as if 20 is going to be the start of real content for all the classes. Crafters get their new content starting at 20(based off of the translation it seems). I would even further assume for dungeons and when we can unlock jobs(when added). For crafters it seems to be the truth but DoW/DoM will have to wait to be seen. That just makes it more odd. It's harder to level in other games when you have to make a new character and gear each character, so after the games been out a while it's understandable.

Just one persons analysis though.

Since the game launched, the dev team comments about the path to 20 have always been that r1-20 is essentially a tutorial (not a very good one...). Right now you can go out and take a DoW/M to r20 very quickly. It's much harder to take a crafter to 20 since you still have to find materials and such for all your synths.
