It's true. I've played a lot of MMO's on launch/early access. Though this is the first one I've actually never received a key from, I can say all launches have issues like this. It is just the result of literally everyone who bought the game trying to log in at the same time. It's normal for MMO releases, but never lasts more than a day. Two days at the most. Once people start going to sleep, they will begin logging on at different hours, freeing up the servers.
