I have to agree that an AFK time needs to be added into the game code to reduce the chance of this happening.

Very disappointing to be looking forward to early access and then its just horrible shit. Servers are up but loads of people can't play. And there even was queue which was good, but suddenly it was removed without any mention of it.
I'm getting tired of doing these intro quests in this city... I want to see the world![]()
I get that Error 1017 too in Cerberus server.
But people really needs calm down and be patient becuase these type of problems are just common in every MMO game at early access, on release day and in first week after release day.

I get the feeling the queue is limited to 200 spots... but it goes down fast, so spam trying to enter has worked for me. Eventually I get to around spot 200 (never above, always below or equals) and then I'm in game within a few seconds after this.
Your a lucky one that gets a queue, most of us can keep clicking :s
Im in and there's afk people everywhere..
There's an announcement on the main page:
Sounds like the 1017 error might be them deliberately throttling the population limit in order to solve the duty finder problem. Give it a couple of hours. MMOs rarely have smooth launches, just be patient and try to be as helpful as possible when reporting bugs if you want things to get back on track as quickly as possible. As announced, we are currently implementing the login limitation so we can monitor the optimization of the Duty Finder more precisely. We will be releasing the limitation as we go along, so we please ask for your patience.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing everyone, but we please ask for continued cooperation for an overall stable environment.

problem isn't the throttle of the population, it is the fact that they have no auto disconnect for AFK people blocking the server and not doing the instance, the idea is to let in a small number they get the instance done, then some more and you all get through them but selfish people login and think yay i am in i will stay logged in and go shopping and play laterz.
this is fixed by adding a 10 min disconnect for inactivity problem solved and sooooooo much less frustrating
Does anyone know if it's better on the JP servers? I consider creating a character there ....
