Loving the duty finder

Filling in 1 or 2 spots while partying with friends, or going solo, the duty finder has eliminated the need for Ul'Dah shouting. (Unless you want to play with local players). This is probably my favorite feature yet. Even if the last spot is waiting on a healer and the wait starts to take 3 or 4 minutes instead of being instant, it gives you a chance to tweak some skills or do a few synths... And it's all autopilot! Great feature 10/10. Do any of you feel that it takes away from any experiences?

Well it obviously kills alot of the social aspect during the leveling phase , but other than that definitely a great tool.

No it doesn't. You can still chat with people inside. They just happen to be from a different server.

These forums do the same thing, and people communicate just fine.

But you can't make friends with them or choose to see them again. Or, for that matter, black list them and be sure never to play with them again.

That is true. I had a few really good runs where we all laughed and high-fived, and when we exited they were dust in the wind. :/ Good for inventory, bad for friend list.

Idk, playing on the JP servers and the DF is somehow broken. It takes forever to complete a dungeon party, took me 40 mins for tam tara one o.O

What job did you seek as? I can be LFP for a dungeon/primal for up to 30 minutes on any one of my DD jobs. As soon as i switch to CNJ? Literally every single time I've changed, I've been put in a party within 10seconds. Same as every game though, people picking healer is quite rare, everyone wants to be in the action.

Other than that, i think the Duty Finder is great. Would be neat if i could search for multiple dungeons at once though.

dutyfinder is fine when it works.

the game takes away from the experience when you cant play because no one want to do what your doing, the dutyfinder sloves that issue.
i'll let the game find me a pt screw shouting for hours in town.

It is convenient, however what bothers me is if the duty finder is lets say, broken..you cant even assemble a party and enter the dungeon manually. I tried this earlier, spent about 2 minutes filling a grp only to find out that we couldn't just enter the dungeon from the outside.

I love it. Cuts down on the party shouts spam.
