I agree that the word dumb should be used for this reply, but not because of the solution of accidentally misclicking, but because they aren't actively working on each server to silence the gil seller themselves. I personally feel it's a great burden to send in a report. How many reports will you receive before action is taken? And by that point, will it even matter if we send in one by then?
Way to show your concern with the player economy* SE.

I agree that sending in a report is a pain. I actually did this the first time I saw spam, but there were so many fields to fill in I decided not to do it again. If I remember correctly there were fields for things like "server" and "zone". Shouldn't the game be able to automatically figure those things out? Obviously the best option is having a right-click "Report" feature like other games, preferably one where the offensive text (last X lines or something) is automatically pulled from the server and submitted with the report. I think most people are happy to comply with helping report these kind of people, but when it is difficult to motivate people to do it when it distracts you from your play experience just to send a report.

And I'm not gonna lie either. I think you and the 23+ people that are liking your post are being a little too dramatic.
It's also not how I read Camate's post.
My 107 Amigos and I see it differently.
Anyway, I also get people say add a confirm/cancel, but that doesn't fix the fact that square enix find their own playerbase incompetent enough that they can't either undo a mess up on their own or lack the responsibility to be big kids and block people without derping.

Agreed, It's almost too much work adding someone to black list or reporting them.
It is justified, you've clearly never released a feature for anything to the masses.
The easiest solution is to have an "Okay/Cancel" box when you use this option.
But some of us are that dumb. Honestly I know that I am. I have accidentally invited people when wanting to just examine them. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Never underestimate stupidity. You can add all the safeguards in the world to something, and someone somewhere will still manage to accidentally mess it up.
