SE had failed to delivered a International MMO. You should foresee these on how many ppls was subscribe on the BETA and how much code you release from EA.
And I believe SE did not do your work to survey that how much ppls was trying to be on that servers, if do, it wont happen like this.
You mention it wont release for awhile?! Is this really an Director of International Game Co. reply to all gamers? Didnt even put a deadline? What a poor Director!

The only other language forums are Japanese, French and Deutsche. There are a lot of other languages besides those and English. Not everyone studied English as their first language. Besides, it's plenty easy to understand unless you are here to intentionally spite someone for not having perfect skills in this language.

Regardless of language usage he's right... with countless players unable to log and the servers are crashing due to too many online, SE might need double the amount of servers for us/eu or more than what they gave us... and thats just so everyone can play. (and probably still congested too)

I'm less concerned with their language skills and more concerned with the topic. Character Creation Limitation is a mixed bag for me, mostly because I don't care what server I play on. I can certainly understand the frustration with being unable to play with your friends, or simply being unable to play on a server of your choice because you just happen to like the name or something. I have two friends that have hardly been able to play at all due to these limitations and constraints. I believe we can all agree that SE simply was not as prepared as they could or should have been for the NA/EU Early Access. I'm wondering what launch will be like when the floodgates open and even more players come pouring in. Queue times I can deal with. Nearly every high-population server on WoW has a queue during peak hours, something I'm sure all WoW veterans have had to deal with at one time or another. But closing Character Creation because the servers were unprepared feels like something that should not even be an option. It certainly would not have been had the servers been able to withstand an extremely high volume of players. Over-preparation would have been advised in this situation.

That said, Yoshi-P has asked that players choose lower population servers to play on. I am actually fine with this, but again because I simply don't care what server I play on. The biggest issue I see is that we have no way of discerning which realms are currently the lowest population. There is no indication that I have found that shows us which realms have a full or high population, and which realms have a very low population. Instituting this information on the server selection screen (which nearly every MMO currently has) would probably solve a lot of the server stress woes that the NA/EU realms are currently experiencing. I know that I and my cohorts would very easily switch to a lower population server... if we only knew which ones they were.

I have to agree, from a company that wanted people to come together they are doing a pretty poor job at it by keeping the communities separate with the character creation restrictions and lack of servers to actually house these incoming players.

I bought this game specifically to play with my friends, which are on a server ( moogle ) which was pretty much been at it's perma limit since about 5 minutes after the game was launched and wasn't even awake yet. Sat here literally all day trying to get into that server, now there just isn't any reason to play this game because everyone I know is on a server I can't ever access.

I am a MMO-Veteran... I have played FFXI for 8+ years and i have played WoW... I know what it feels like to be on a low population server and i know what it feels like to be one of maybe 20 EU ppl playing with a majority of JP's.

Of course i wanna play on a high population EU server now. After all these years that i had to wait hours for a party invite or hoping for a LS that runs dynamis etc during my time-frame i finaly wanna "play"

To me it is a slap into the face again that they ask us to create charakters on low population servers.
