Yes and no. It means that there will be a lot less duplicate threads (except for here in the technical support section), which means that finding actual answers to issues will be a lot easier as there are so many less threads to search through. Since people so often don't bother searching at all and just create new threads, asking the same questions, then yes, those people will go to another forum where they can spam new threads to ask dumb questions, but is that really such a bad thing?

Asking questions usually means you will learn. Having an environment that encourages learning is a good thing. This forum is an environment that doesnt encourage asking questions, and therefor all new players are at the mercy of other people already having asked the thing they wonder about. This is a bad thing.
