BCNMs

Would really enjoy to see something like this in XIV.
For those who are not familiar with XI, BCNMs or Burning Circle Notorious Monsters was a instanced battle for various levels and party sizes to partake in with rare and valuable loot to be awarded if victorious.

Perhaps could call them Arena Notorious Monsters or ANMs that can take place at the Gladiator's coliseum, the Lancer's guild hall, and the Marauder's battleship. And the cost to enter these ANMs could be Guild Marks or perhaps a new item put into the loot pool of all mobs like crystals, just more rare.

However I do favor using guild marks since it gives more relevance to doing leves and I would really like to put all those left over GMs to some good use. Furthermore it would go inline with the story and also give the guild halls more relevance with possible high end fights with the Guild Masters themselves in the arena.

I think it would also be good way for your job to earn new abilities, spells, armor, and new class titles by proving their worth in battle at the arena at their prospective guild hall.

I could also see end game ANMs taking place in Ishgard or other new cities that come in future updates/expansions. And although it would be nice to see Maat again, I don't think I want to go toe to toe with the old man again.

Would appreciate any feedback, this wasn't a thought out post just something I wrote as I was thinking.

Fighting in the Colosseum would be excellent. Especially if it allowed spectators.

BCNMs were very enjoyable. However and wherever they're implemented I'd be on board. Not having me walk anywhere for them is even better.
