EU/NA Servers cheap in comparrison to JP server? Excellent vs Good... UK Player.

I live in the uk and me and my friends have better connection (Excellent) compared to the (Good) of the EU/NA servers, is this why we have so many problems? are we getting the sub par service from SE? how is it possible i can get a far better connection to a country twice the distance?

Because the NA/EU Data center is GARBAGE. That's why it keeps having issues and the JP servers haven't. I'm scared to see what it will be like when everyone can login, Right now they still haven't even gotten everyone with a preorder in.

Yeah, got better connection to JP server too.
Also NA/EU data center is somewhere in Canada. (Yeah, I know it was genius idea to make EU servers somewhere not in EU, more even, on other continent.)

What's the likelihood that it's not a matter of crappier servers, but a matter of there being 25 servers for the entirety of Japan and 25 servers for the rest of the world? Japanese servers don't appear to be anywhere near as crowded as the NA/EU servers are and for good reason. Probably 80-90% of the subscribing population is piling onto 50% of the available servers.

Japan 128 million people = 25 servers
NA 360? million people = 18 servers
Europe 739 million people = 6 servers

Japan... do you know Europe is not one country?

I know a lot of Japanese play games like Nintendo etc but i find it very hard to believe they outnumber 1.1 billion people... and other than FF Europe makes a lot more big name games and mmos such as GW2, Wildstar, TESO, SWTOR, Most Asian games ive played are very bad for example Aion, Archlord, Tera. maybe they dont publish their games over here as much but i see europe and america making many many more games on our shelves including the god forbid call of duty series that sells millions.

Most people here in Britain play games,even if it is only fifa football games on their xbox 360 or kids with nintendo 3ds, most people do play games here and in america, maybe not mmo's as a lot of people in Britain see playing an mmo as sad but FF should be very popular all over the world.

japans population 126 million = 1,260,00
usa's population 314 million = 3,140,000
canada's population 34.5 million = 345,000

where do you get your numbers saying that there will be more jp players than na/eu combined?
