No valid or active service account

Aight, so I preordered. added my early access code. all's well. Went in to log on this morning and I get

'No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn'

I cant do anything with my early access code, it says its be registered. I sent a customer support ticket, its been almost 9 hours since then and I havent gotten a response at all. I know its a beta a servers go down and shit happens, bit I cant even log onto the servers to get a server error code! so I dunno what to do. I mean, I paid for it and for early access and Im not getting it at all. so, a little help would be awesome.

I know stuff's busy but I did kinda hope that I'd have had some help within the past 9 hours.

You are not alone. I am having the same issue. I am also seeing other people sharing our woes. I have not found any place where SE or FFXIV Dev team have acknowledged the issue. I think possibly the reason you have not gotten help or a response to your support ticket, is because apparently their hours of operation are Monday through Friday. The only glimmer of info I have found that could shed light on our problem is...

It says "...we may implement restrictions on logins..."

I don't know if that is the reason for the inactive service account, but as I said, it is all I have found to be a possibility.

my boyfriend got this error code...he's playing on pc, not ps3. He's able to log into here with all his info on the side. I'm getting an error code when trying to log into my world, but at least it let me log in. :/

Hey, thanks for something to look at at least. as far as im concerned this is just as much beta as the OB was. its been a long time since I've seen a beta go smoothly so at least im used to stuff like this happening.

I played beta, bought my pre-order/early access some time ago. I registered my game and early access code and I'm getting this error. I go to the mogstation and try registering my early access code again and it says it's being used. So obviously I did actually register it. Cannot download the updates, cannot play early access like I paid for. Sad face.

I did send a ticket, still waiting for a response.

If you are on PC, probably the reason you can't access is you never got your 20 digit windows code........like me.
Or you got the wrong regional code........like many.

Good luck getting that fixed. Two days of asking, sending emails, etc and still no code. Square Enix customer service consists of post in the forums where we can ignore you.....
Or send us emails.....that we can ignore.

Oh and if you are EU region, you're totally out of luck in any way, Square Enix can't even acknowledge there is accounts in EU.

I cancelled my pre-order from Amazon (pre-ordered back July 4th), ordered another digital copy of Collector's Edition and went through all of the steps again. I received all of my code emails and all codes registered fine. I am finally logged into the client and downloading the updates.
