Unable to Complete Version Update. [11035][30426]

I had just finished installing the game on my Surface Pro. I was running it in windowed mode (default) and decided to try fullscreen. After alt+tabbing out and trying to bring up the virtual keyboard to take a screenshot and then alt+tabbing back in, the game crashed on a DX error. I tried again and again and the game would consistently crash upon fullscreen initialisation.

A reboot later and now I am getting this error.

Also, is there any way change to windowed mode without booting the game? Thanks.

Sorry, I don't see settings. Also, there is nothing to update. The button says "Play".

yeah play thats what i meant and its at the bottom of the launcher well it use to be there no idea if it was removed or not. if you still have the bench mark i belive if you place a setting there it will go over to your live version as well

No, unfortunately. I have not installed XIV or anyting related to it on here before. I might have to try to reinstall looking at the JP forum if I can't find anything else.

Oh well, I just saw there's maintenance. Since that will force a new download, I'll just wait until tomorrow to see how it goes.
